Acer India has launched its Acer Power 330 desktop PC which is powered by Intel Pentium 4 processor with hyper-threading (HT) technology.
The new Acer Power 330 desktop PC is based on Intel Pentium 4 524 processor with hyper-threading (HT) technology with 3.06 Ghz, EM64T, 1MB L2 cache, 533 Mhz FSB, features system memory of 128 MB DDR RAM (upgradeable to 2 GB of DDR2 400/533/667 RAM), and storage capacity of 40 GB HDD hard drive at 5400 RPM and integrated graphics chipset.
The Acer Power 330 also sports an integrated 10/100 Ethernet LAN interface, a 52X CD-ROM optical drive, PS/2 Acer Black 104-key keyboard, black PS/2 optical mouse, multiple ports, a 15-inch CRT Black monitor, and on board sound and graphics chipset with shared VRAM (16MB/32-MB).
The Acer Power 330 desktop comes preinstalled with free Linux operating system with limited functionality.
Speaking on the launch of the Acer Power 330, Harish Kohli, GM-sales and marketing, networking and PC client division, Acer India, said, “Now everyone can own a desktop powered by an Intel P4 processor. We are also offering Lifetime Antivirus with all our Acer Power 330 machines.”
